The spring of 2020 was an extremely challenging time for businesses and the families who depended upon their success. Pamela and Dave Helton, of The Law Office of Pamela J Helton, watched as friends and loved ones worried about paying bills, paying staff, and even keeping businesses open. They felt the concerns too, but rather than stay cut off from colleagues and clients they knew they had to find a way to help bring people together once again. 

 

Pamela and Dave had strong ties within the community and knew the benefits of networking. They had called upon their networking groups to come together to help each other through tough economic times in the past …. and it worked. Now, the community was not just facing a tough economic impact, but also a pandemic. Pamela and Dave decided it was time, again, to call upon their colleagues and friends to come together and help each other through an unprecedented time. A favorite phrase of theirs is ‘get up, dress up, show up’ so they called upon the community to do just that. Show up with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help the community thrive.

 

Pat and Daryl Woodhouse, REALTORS with REMAX Central Realty, and Luis Bridogo, of Surveillance Plus, worked with Pamela and Dave to do the hard work of creating the format of the meetings, find a meeting location, engage speakers, invite people to attend, and much more. Their efforts were rewarded with repeat attendees who were grateful for the group. 

 

Once the Clermont group was off and running, it was time to create solutions not only for business and not only in Clermont. A second face to face group was started in Winter Garden in January 2021. Two Facebook groups, Faith’s Corner and the Health Hub, were also created to help people find spiritual and health solutions. 

 

As we move past the time of crisis, Solutions Networking will continue. We are different from other networking groups. No negativity is allowed -  there is only room for positive people who genuinely want to support others to attain success. We hope relationships will be built, problems will be solved, and fun will be had. 

 

We look forward to meeting people who care about the success of others and  the community as much as their own success. Please join us with an open heart and positive attitude!
